So, this morning started with a solar eclipse. As stated in one news report, it was “the last chance to see a partial eclipse from Europe until 2015.” Granted there is another one later this year, if you intend to travel to Antarctica…(nah!…)
I did get some cool photos from different photographers online so I cannot take credit for these.
Now, the other highlight of this month is happening right now. If you have clear skies, go outside (dress warmly…) and you should be able to get a glimpse of the meteor shower known as the Quadrantids. Granted, the show has already peaked, but you should still see a few shooting stars for the next few days.
